We Did New Year's Calligraphy and Visited the Shrine for the New Year in 2021
The first school event of this year was New Year's calligraphy (kakizome) and the first shrine visit of the New Year (hatsumode). For the calligraphy, after learning how to hold and use the brush, everyone challenged themselves with their favorite kanji. Some students were holding a brush for the first time, yet everyone wrote diligently. Some truly wonderful works were created!
We also visited Kuragari no Mori Hachiman Shrine for the New Year pilgrimage. Thanks to the shrine's generosity, we were able to experience drawing omikuji (fortune slips), and everyone was very happy. Thank you so much. May this year be a wonderful one for all of you!!
